ElectroMelt is a ruggedly built, high output heating cable specifically designed and UL Listed for the de-icing of concrete surfaces including parking areas, sidewalks and driveways. The product is constructed with a radiation cross-linked, semi-conductive core, a heavy 14 gauge braid and a 90 mil outer jacket.
ElectroMelt's rugged construction allows it to be installed directly into concrete by covering the cable with a strong, single monolithic pour. Multiple pours that weaken the concrete itself are not required.
